After mastering the small slide, he was ready to explore the bigger slides with Mom and Dad. Dad was the best at finding the fun slides, and after a while, he was going up and down all by himself. It was great to see him interacting with the other kids, and he had such a great time!
On Saturday, the zoo was a better option, and we made the trek to Como Zoo with the boys. I had Cody in our front pack, which allowed for Dylan to have 2 parents with free hands! He loved the monkeys and ducks, and we could barely get him to look at anything else!
After a while at the zoo, it became apparent to us that he was ready to go home. He wanted to ride in the stroller rather than walk, and he was becoming less interested in the animals. We went home, had some lunch, and a great nap!! Cody was wonderful during both trips this weekend, and was a great addition to our adventurous three.
We ended the weekend with a visit with Grammie and Grampie. We visited them at Aunt Darlene and Uncle Ed's house, where Dylan was able to play with their grandson, Robbie. He loved playing with Robbie, who is 4. They played with toys that they had, but they had the most fun playing baseball in the backyard. Dylan really showed his athleticism and attention span. By the time we left, he was hot and tired, but really happy!!
